The Clio RS 197 has redefined what constitutes a hot hatch with sensational perforamance from its powerful 2.0litre engine, advanced chassis dynamics and a F1-developed air diffuser keeping it firmly glued to the road. From supportive sports seats to sport-biased ESP which you can disconnect if you are on the trace, Renault Sport has created the ultimate driving environment. The engine has been extensively revised from the previous Clio Renault Sport 182 with new inlet tracts, valve seat aerodynamics, camshaft, cranks shaft and pistons. Continuously variable valve timing results in 145kW of power at 7250rpm and 215Nm of torque at 5550rpm. And with the close ratio 6 speed gearbox, changing gears has never been so sweet or rewarding.
